Lumineers. The Key to a Bright Smile

When you think about your smile, one of the things that probably come to mind is the brightness of your teeth. If you don’t have the white smile that you want or you aren’t happy with the shape of your teeth, consider Lumineers. These are thin, translucent pieces that are placed over your natural teeth so they can give you the vibrancy you might not be able to achieve using hygiene products from the supermarket.

Lumineers are used to reshape and whiten your teeth without any discomfort. There is virtually no pain involved in placing Lumineers on your teeth of any kind. Since the product is so thin, they are easily adjusted to your teeth for a perfect fit. This means the dentist will have little use for tools when getting them to fit properly. Once Lumineers are placed, they look and feel natural.

In some cases, Lumineers are a great substitute for braces. If your teeth aren’t severely crooked, you may want to consider them as an alternative to achieving the beautiful smile you want. They can make your teeth look straight without having to deal with the pain and discomfort of a mouth full of wires or brackets. Lumineers will last about 20 years with proper dental care so you won’t have to worry about constantly visiting the dentist to adjust them.

All it takes is two short office visits to get Lumineers in place. During your first visit, you will go to the office to determine the exact measurements of the teeth and how the Lumineers will be placed. The dentist will often take a mold of your mouth to ensure precise accuracy. There is no pain in the process and it only takes a few short minutes. Once the mold has been taken, the dentist will examine the teeth to find the best-suited Lumineers. The second visit, which is also a short visit, is when the dentist will actually place the Lumineers on your teeth. In order to get the best fit possible, a few adjustments will be made once they’re on your teeth. This entire procedure takes less than 2 hours and involves no shots or drilling in the mouth of any type. The dentist will also match the shade of the Lumineers with the rest of your teeth so that they look natural. Once they’re in place, you are ready to leave with a big smile on your face.

You will be able to continue to drink and eat most foods that you enjoy. You don’t have to worry as much with sticky foods as you would if wearing braces. However, there does still need to be a good amount of oral hygiene in place as these are covering your natural teeth. It’s important that you visit your dentist on a regular basis and continue brushing and flossing as usual.

If you think that Lumineers may be the solution you have been seeking to get the smile you’ve always wanted, be sure to schedule a consultation with our office. Lumineers happen to also be our March Special. If you schedule your procedure this month, you may receive 8 Lumineers for just $6995.
