Dental Office

Since 1986 Perfect Smile Tulsa’s Core Values Statement has been…
“The best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered…” Dr. W.J. Mayo

To that end, we want to reassure you that we have the following in place:

Disinfection and Sterilization (Perfect Smile Tulsa Dental Office Tulsa OK)

Preventing cross-contamination is a high priority at Perfect Smile Tulsa!

Any instrument that we use during your visit is either disposed of after use, chemically sterilized, or disinfected and then sterilized in an autoclave (steam heated sterilization machine.) Perfect Smile Tulsa surpasses governmental requirements regarding the sterilization of instruments throughout our dental office in Tulsa OK as well as having our autoclave and X-ray machines monitored monthly by an outside agency to ensure proper functioning. All surfaces of the operatories are chemically disinfected after each patient’s visit.
Please ask for a tour of the  Sterilization area at Perfect Smile Tulsa during your next appointment – we’re happy to show you around and want you to be reassured that your dental visit will be as safe as possible.

Our dental Hygienists and Assistants are trained and certified in different capabilities. No staff
member is permitted to perform duties outside their certification or licensing. For example,
Hygienists are permitted to give injections, Dental Assistants are not. Dental Assistants are
required to have certifications to administer nitrous, take x-rays, and polish teeth. We will not
permit an Assistant who is not currently certified in these areas to perform these duties. Current
certificates and licenses are displayed in our office and you are always welcome to ask to see
